ELMO Employee Sentiment Index – Australian Financial Services Sector

32% of Australian workers in the financial services sector are considering a career change compared to the rest of the nation at 26%. 

That’s according to ELMO’s snapshot report of the Employee Sentiment Index (April – June 2021), which contrasts the Australian financial services sector against the national response on key areas of job security, worker wellbeing and attitudes towards vaccination.

Key findings in this report include  that workers in the financial services sector are:

• Confident about the security of their job and  industry
• Less likely than the rest of the nation to feel burnt out
• More likely to be considering a career change than the national average
• Slightly more likely to feel bored at work
