The Construction industry has been heavily impacted by COVID-19. Lockdowns, social distancing, heated “no jab, no job” debates and protests in several states – most recently Victoria – have all taken their toll.

Employee sentiment towards vaccinations

ELMO’s quarterly Employee Sentiment Index revealed the proportion of workers uncomfortable working alongside unvaccinated colleagues in the Construction industry is 65%. In addition, vaccination passports have also been welcomed by 80% of construction workers in Australia.[1]
